LOVE these night shots from Hoffer Photography.  You don’t see many of these that often!

What a fantastic way to play with the light!

…but the weather can produce some awesomely beautiful views.

Yes, that rainbow is real (I know, because I was outside that day and everyone and their brother talked about it).

Like most of you, I’m sure you stalked your photographer’s blog waiting for her to post a preview of your engagement photos or your wedding photos (no pressure Lisa, we are just really excited). At any rate, I know she was busy with all of the fab weddings she has been photographing this Fall, that I knew it would be a few weeks, and I’m totally fine with that.

But then, while browsing FB statuses Saturday night before bed, I saw she posted a link making a reference to sunflare and red balloons. I KNEW she had to be talking about our pictures. So, at 2 a.m., I bounced out of bed and ran to my Mac to check. And, voila, there they were!

I’m seriously in love with these and CANNOT wait to see more. The FI was excited about the pictures and couldn’t wait to see a few, so when I shared these with him, he was even more excited.

To Lisa: Thank you for a fun few afternoon hours last week. We had a great time and are excited to see the rest (take your time, we know you’re uber busy!)! We so love these two you shared with us!

Most of you know I’m anxiously awaiting the photo recaps of Jessica Claire’s wedding, so I can’t help but be excited when she posts this.

What I’m really loving though, is her dark nail polish. I can’t tell if it is black or plum, or what, but I love it. Really makes me want to go with red, all the way.

So, last week I spent some time in my favorite state (Colorado) with some of my favorite people.  During my time there, I was able to catch up with a great friend and get a look into her passion (photography).  She shared the work of a fantastic Colorado-based photographer and that’s when I fell in love with this.

I would give my left arm to get married there. Actually, I would give both arms and both legs.

In case you’re wondering, I have already inquired with the location regarding future use for a vow renewal. Le swoon (big time).

I’m digging the new trend of having photos taken in libraries.  There is just something enchanting about the library.

What unique and different photo locations would you like to stop at for some of your wedding shots?

As a bride, wedding planner, lover of photography and all things wedding, I have been thoroughly looking forward to Jessica Claire‘s wedding.

She got married last Tuesday (which I am anxiously awaiting the preview of pictures from Jose Villa).  In the meantime, I’ll have to make do with some of her bridal portraits (which are stunning by the way).

LE SWOON (and yes, it deserves all caps).

Love this idea! Great addition for an outdoor wedding!

Just wanted to share a beautiful photo by the wonderful Amelia Lyon.

Not only is the lighting and the angle gorgeous, but I love what the bride and groom are doing. It is adorably fun and pretty at the same time.
