Not all brides dream of a long white gown – a white gown for that matter. But back to the long part.

When your wedding backdrop and “feel” just don’t equal having a long wedding gown. Don’t feel like you have to have one. Short dresses are just as fun, and sometimes sexier. And, who doesn’t love a sexy bride?

Sometimes DIY details can be a bit overwhelming – except when done right, of course. Jessica and Paul really took the time to make those DIY elements truly personal with homemade jelly favors for their guests, a quilt guestbook, and self-designed (and assembled) paper goods.

With their ceremony and reception held at Stables on the Hill, the natural elements really played a big part in the backdrop and decor. A horse-drawn carriage carried the bride in for the ceremony, wildflowers complimented the outdoor venue, and the couple planted a tree in honor of their making a new home together.  Plus, they provided a little fun for the guests with a face painter – and yes, the adults even took part.

We all love a good first kiss photo. It’s that first moment of your “married kiss,” and everyone always whips out their cameras to catch it.

But, as a bride and groom – don’t forget to freshen up.

And, of course – that moment got a pretty good reaction from the crowd.
