I love Fall. Tremendously. It’s why I got married in the Fall. But I particularly love pumpkin patches.

Because sometimes weddings warrant the need to take off your shoes and go barefoot.

A few words from the bride, Liz:
Favorite Detail:
My favorite detail from the day had to be my SATC pink shoes!
Our First Dance:
To Etta James’ “At Last.”
Favorite Moment and Advice:
Everything almost seems like a haze now but the best part had to be sitting at the head table at dinner and at one point Brandon and I looked out and saw all of our family and closest friends and it meant so much to see them all there. My advice for the bride-to-be would be to breathe, relax and take some mental pictures. The day goes by quicker than you’ll ever imagine!
> 2. what was your favorite detail?

Brandon and Liz met and started dating during high school and both attended the same college. After graduation, the two moved to Chicago. It was while in the Windy City that Brandon proposed. Not long after, they moved back home to St. Louis and finished planning their classic, modern soiree. And, what better way to tie the knot than in the church on your alma mater’s campus?

So, I may be a tad biased, considering this little one’s sister-in-law happens to be a bride (and friend) of mine. Not only did she dance her little tushy off for a good portion of the night, she told guests “Hi” as she walked down the aisle, and said “Cheese” anytime you wanted to take a photo of her. I think that automatically qualifies her as the most adorable flower girl.

The beauties (which Carrie would be proud of) are those of my good friend Liz. She donned them while walking down the aisle and dancing her tail off on Saturday. And, trust me, they were even prettier in person!

Lets think outside the box for minute.

Yes, it’s summer. So, it may seem that tropical flowers seem a bit cliche? But not so much, you see. This is the Midwest – no beach or ocean in site.
Instead of roses, opt for something bold. And, make a statement with your bouquet. I know one Delta Gamma who did.
