I may live in the Midwest, but I seriously channel my inner Southern girl when it comes to menswear at weddings. I’m so over the matchy-matchy vests and ties (and you should be as well). And, while I love a good colorful tie (I should, our groomsmen will be sporting them), I’m a big ‘ol sucker for a man in a bow tie. Well, really, I’m just a sucker for a bow tie. Period.
And, how could you not be?

So, do you prefer a plain tie, a quirky bow tie, or the traditional matchy vest/tie combo?
Not a fan of card boxes? Me either.
Get creative by using old vintage suitcases, or bird cages. It’s best to find a container that fits with your look and feel.

I love a good flat. I especially love this mustard color, and how this bride‘s shoes truly matched the look and feel of her wedding.

I have a closet full of cardigans. One in every color, some 3/4 sleeve, some long sleeve, some short. One for every occasion. But it never occurred to me to wear one with a wedding dress. Not that you get to wear your dress more than once, but my point being that many brides opt to wear a bolero or jacket. So, why not wear a cardigan? And, even better, why not wear one in a fun color?

Hi, my name is Brit and I have a problem. Mostly an obsession. With Colorado weddings. And, this gorgeous one took place at Crystal Farms Ranch in Aspen, CO.

With a chill in the air and perhaps a few snowflakes, I wanted to share this fantastic winter wedding from Grazier Photography.

Merry Christmas!
With Christmas this week, and my leaving for Florida on Wednesday, posting will be a bit light.
Anyway….
Feast your eyes on this beautiful set up! The lighting is gorgeous, and the venue is quaint and cozy. The chandeliers and candelabras were a fantastic way for them to dress up the space and create that vintage feel.
