I’m a true sucker for a ranuncula or peony, but com September, those beauties are out of season. But, when Fall does roll around, some of the most vivid, full and colorful flowers (and plants) make their appearance.
Take advantage of what is in season – not only for the sake of what’s available (because, lets be honest, those aubergine dahlia’s below are totally swoon-worthy), but also to keep your floral costs reasonable.
- Dahlias
- Sunflowers
- Mums
- Hypericum Berries
- Leaves and Ornamental Cabbage
- Succulents
- Astilbe
- Wheat

We only have a few more weeks of Fall left…and, although I am a tad bit sad about it, I’m still loving all of the beautiful colors and ideas that my favorite season brings.
Today, I am guest blogging over on “She Said Yes!” Hop over to Jacin’s blog to read up on great Fall centerpiece ideas, and other Fall inspiration with posts from the rest of her series.
Regular posting will resume tomorrow!
Because I love Fall a huge amount, I cannot help but feature some great engagement photo inspiration (again, this week). Plus, I love that the guy is wearing a puffer vest, totally makes these photos feel cozy!

It is definitely images like this one that make me very excited that I am getting married in the Fall (and having my e-pics done in the Fall).

The colors and the light are just gorgeous.
This is completely unrelated to weddings, but have I mentioned how much I love Fall? No? Well, I won’t go into details, but when a friend told me that these were back…

…I had to go down to the local Starbucks to get one.
You don’t even know how excited this bride-to-be is.
And, sorry for all you Summer lovers out there (I like summer), but my heart belongs to Fall.
