interested in submitting a real wedding, style shoot, or engagement / trash the dress / day after / newlywed shoot to the landlocked bride™? submissions must meet the below criteria, as well as include specific information.
the images
for real weddings, please submit at least 75 web-ready images in a zipped file format for review. images should include detail shots, ceremony/reception photos, portraits and anything else that really captures the day. for all other submissions, please submit a minimum of 35 images for consideration. in addition, images should not contain watermarks or frames, and should be sent as individual photos.
the details
all submissions must include all vendors, with the URLs to their web sites, if applicable. first-hand accounts from the bride and groom are also required. they can be as detailed as they would like, including memorable moments, details or funny stories.
the fine print
please be sure to specify if you have submitted the wedding to other web sites and/or publications. submissions cannot have been featured on any other website other than the photographer’s. also, all weddings and sessions must have occurred within the last year, and have taken place in the midwest / mountain west region.
the turn-around
real weddings are typically featured within a month or two after approval. the approval period is 1-2 weeks after submission. all submissions will receive confirmation of receipt within 48 hours. if you do not receive confirmation, please send a follow-up email after 48 hours, as your submission may have been caught in our spam filter.
the contact
all submissions should be submitted via two bright lights. you may also email your submission to realweddings (at) landlockedbride (dot) com with the subject specifying the type of session you are sharing and your company name. or, you can use a document sending / sharing site like dropbox.
