News flash. I love college football. Next to baseball, it is by far one of my favorite sports. And, this time of the year, I seriously get beyond excited because the season is about to kick off any second. Waiting on pins and needles over here.

I love that Laura and Ben incorporated their college football team into their engagement sessions (did I mention Ben is one of the coaches for UW?). I so wish the Pilot and I could have done that, but ‘alas, we chose a university that didn’t have a football team.

With less than two months out – we’re off to our second shower today.  And, to celebrate how close the big day truly is, I’m sharing one of our engagement photos. One of many that I absolutely love.

This one is in honor of my good friends who got married last weekend, Katie and Pat. Their ceremony was beautiful, and reception was timeless. And, even with the light rain, nothing took the smiles off of either of their faces.  Congrats to two wonderful people and friends.

One of my best friends gets married today. She’s a true romantic at heart, and believes in fairy tales. So, I couldn’t help but share this sweet piece from i am blessed.
