plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

Boy do I love Summer. But, I happen to love watermelon more (and, Fall). But still, this shot should make anyone love Summer.

I’ll admit, it’s the first I had heard of this when thumbing through the latest post on my own photographer‘s blog, but when I thought about it, I was really drawn to the idea. A ring warming ceremony.

A tradition in which the wedding bands are tied together, and then passed along to the wedding party, family and friends. As it passes from one person to the next, each “warms” the rings with a prayer or a blessing.

Engraved rings win me over every time.

First off, how can you not love the bling in this photo? And, secondly? That monogram? Le grand swoon.

Today’s ring shot comes straight from one of my fave photographers, Emily Porter.  Her fiance proposed not too long ago and purchased this gorgeous solitaire ring from Brilliant Earth. I love everything about this ring.

Congrats to you Emily and Bobby!
