plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

The planning is done, the photo album has been created and now you are a Mrs… where did the time go?! My mom always told me that the older you get, the faster the times goes by. I have never truly understood this until this past year. Have we really been married an ENTIRE year already… 12 months, 365 days, 525,600 minutes?

As an avid lover of Pinterest (aren’t we all) I can admit that out of my 3,000+ pins, I probably have gone back and referenced them about 25% of the them. However, there is one idea that I decided to follow-though with and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I am so excited to share our ‘first year anniversary’ photos.

So although the planning is done and the photo album has been created; now as a Mrs. there are still many wonderful milestones to encounter (and document) as a couple.

We had so much fun incorporating props into this photo shoot.  I previously posted about ‘engagement photo props’ and what a fun, personalized touch it can add to your photo session. Since we did not incorporate these into our original engagement photos, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do so. We decided to include special items from our wedding day; one of our favorite wedding day photos, his tie, and my wedding day shoes… still complete with my ‘something blue.’  And please let me also introduce you to our adorable Miniature Golden Doodle, Moxen… he pretty much stole the show.

Wonderful pictures Linday… so glad to have been a part of that day one year ago. Also so glad to have been a part of your life growing up.

  2. This was such a great idea and we had so much fun on your shoot. May this Anniversary be the beginning of a lifetime of blessings shared together. Your Friends, The Roop’s
