plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

We’ve all heard of the plastic cup favors, and the coasters, and the wine corks. But, hold the presses, because this has got to be one of the cutest (and most resourceful) ideas when it comes to favors.

I always tell my couples, if you want favors, pick something your guests can either consume (i.e., food or candy) or re-use. And, these mason jar favors fit the bill!

The bride and groom had their two signature drinks served in the jars (Mint Julep or John Daly), but then told guests to keep the jar as a way to remember their special day. I’m pretty sure I’d sport those cups proudly in my cupboards if I received ’em!  And, I know someone else who would, too!

  1. being a HUGE mason lover myself, I love this idea 🙂 I have some of those mason jar mug glasses but not a PERSONALIZED one!

  2. Love this idea! I think I might have to steal it for my own wedding 🙂

I have also been looking for a way to logo/ customize mason jars. A sticker or adhesive wont work because it would come off and become gummy in washing. I’ve looked at glass etching but haven’t been able to find a solution that makes sense for 100 + jars. Any ideas?

Lindsey – I recommend checking out Discount Mugs (www.discountmugs.com). There you should be able to have custom logo or design printed on them.
