There has always been something about the way Jeremy captures love that I have swooned over since the second I stumbled upon his work. He always manages to book the coolest of couples, with the quirkiest (and funnest) of styles. Not to mention, he always finds the the most awesome locations in Chicago. Catching up on his blog posts is a huge treat for me.
Patrick and Molly’s wedding has all the elements of retro, vintage, fun and love. Starting with their venue, Salvage One. To all of their reception details. And, the fact that they both sang at the reception. This wedding has so many great photos form Jeremy, with so many awesome details I had to break it into two posts. Check back this afternoon for part two and a look into their reception.
From the Groom:
As a product of Match.com, our connection has been strong from the very start and we still continue to discover things we have in common. Over the 9 months of planning our wedding we really loved working together to create our perfect day. We were both 100% involved each step of the way and collaborated on all of our designs. As lovers of all things vintage, our decor was based around items that had a definable aged character. Our selected color scheme became yellow, blue, white and gray. A potentially popular scheme, but we felt a humid July evening would welcome the colors.
We are also in love with good music, good food and good beer, so there was plenty to be had. It was important to us that each detail was perfect so that our guests would be as comfortable as possible. Seeing everyone wave our “hoo-ray” flags as we walked back down the aisle was a wonderful feeling. We got to toast to our love with growlers of beer from Revolution Brewery, a favorite local brewery just down the street from where we live. Guests who collected all 4 of our buttons and had them proudly displayed made us feel really loved throughout the night. We have so much to be thankful for and we wanted to share that with everyone. The best part of our night was thanking all of our family and friends for joining us that evening by serenading them with a few tunes. Overall, everything went smoothly, and we were left with amazing memories to enjoy for many years to come!
