plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

This wedding has humor. It has emotion. It has sparkle. It has fun. And, it has love. You can just feel it in every single photo. I had so much fun flipping through the images Pam Cooley sent my way, there was just so much life in this wedding!

From the Bride:
What started out as a friendship grew into my happily ever after. Corey and I met when we were 16 and remained close friends throughout college and years that had passed. Little did we know that our friendship was about to turn into a fairy tale. When Corey proposed after less than a year of dating I knew that this was the man I wanted to wake up to everyday and spend every second with. We planned our day for a little over a year and a half, enjoyed every second of it, and wouldn’t change one second of it for the world. As I woke up on the morning of July 9th, I was full of emotions and simply ecstatic. My mom and I were a team that morning and I could never thank her enough for all that she has ever done for me. Hair and makeup with my girls at the salon, laughing out loud to silly family jokes, and then it was time to put on MY dress. My girls looked absolutely stunning, the parents were dressed to the nine, and I was ready to walk down the aisle. My dad escorted me down the aisle as 400 close family and friends watched me walk to my future. As much as tears wanted to flow, my dad held my hand so tight and I knew that he had been waiting for this moment since the day I was born just as much as I had. We were married!!!

In between photos we were able to sneak over to our reception to take a peak at our ballroom before guests had arrived and simply put..Amazing! It was everything I had ever wanted and more. I worked with Beth (McKinley Park Events) for over a year and she truly helped me take my vision to the next level. The harvest table for the bridal party was simply breathtaking that words couldn’t even begin to describe. Corey and I love to play Wii so we decided to have Wii stations set up so people could enjoy themselves during cocktail hour and throughout the night. We wanted to make sure to single out our parents at their tables since they are our number one role models so we decided to add different linens and add photos from their own wedding day as the centerpieces. From the photobooth, to the lighting and drapery, to the replica of the Stanley Cup for Corey’s groom’s cake; we could not have been happier had the Black Eyed Peas shown up like I wanted. Wink;) I believe Pam captured all the details that were important to us on our wedding day. The smiles on our parent’s faces were priceless and the love that filled the room was contagious. Here’s to everyone’s happily ever after!
