plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

Continues to amaze me how much creativity comes out of the Midwest when it comes to weddings.  I am beyond thrilled that local brides are finally realizing it is okay to make it personal, and most importantly have fun.

Local blogger, Lauren of , and her fiance put together this fabulous save the date video in stop motion, and I cannot. stop. watching. it.  I wish I could be a guest at this girl’s wedding. But ‘alas, that’s not possible. BUT, the fabulous Lisa Hessel will be photographing their big day this Fall, and I cannot wait to see what she captures.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the mention, Brit! The stop motion was a total labor of love for the both of us, and I still can’t watch it without tearing up myself! It’s totally a constant reminder that I need to get my butt in gear if I want to check everything off my handmade to-do list 🙂
