A simple white wedding shoe, with a peep toe and satin ribbon detail. Yes, please!

Okay. So, this morning’s pair of shoes are quite special to me. They feature the feet of a dear friend, and former “little sister” from cheerleading in high school. Silly and sentimental, yes. But, she wed this past Winter in the Philippines, where she now lives with her husband. Her punch of orange was the perfect touch to their wedding. And, in flipping through her wedding photos last night, I couldn’t help but be excited for her.

Some of you may have heard (and others not), but out dear blogger friend, Annie of Marry You Me just jetted off to London for the next few months as they take part in a semester abroad (super jealous). Besides being super excited for her (and missing her here in the States), a few of us teamed up to send her and her hubby some well wishes as they enjoy Europe for a while.
If you get a chance, be sure to drop by her blog and wish her well!

And, thanks to Jacin of Lovely Little Details for putting together this Bon Voyage card for Annie.
Nothing gets me quite excited like a Midwest wedding oozing with gorgeousness. The colors, the backdrop, the details, the bicycle? Oh, and did I mention a horse? And, the flowers. Oh, the flowers. Peonies, ranunculas, billy balls, hypericum berries, babies breath. I could go on. While I would love to, I want to share this wedding more. Stay tuned for part two later today, and the full gallery of images from Pam Cooley. Now, go get your swoon on.

Tomorrow, I will be taking a blogging break to pay respect to those who lost their lives in the Japan earthquake last week, and in an effort to raise awareness for For Japan With Love. A big thank you to Lydia at Ever Ours and Lucia at Utterly Engaged for rallying together to encourage everyone to donate to send ShelterBoxes to Japan.
