plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

My shoes, of course. I have two pair. One you’ve seen. The other is a surprise. But, I cannot wait to wear either pair on Saturday.

Wedding week is upon us (well, for me, at least). While posting will continue to be light until my honeymoon return, I couldn’t help but share things I am most looking forward to this weekend.  And, here’s your first dose.

I’m looking forward to spending the morning with four of my best friends. Ladies I love, adore, confide in, laugh with, and have shared many a glass of wine with. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else stand up with me on my wedding day.  And, I can only hope Lisa captures a few photos like this for me.

Considering I have nearly 8,000 gumballs sitting in my dining room right now, this photo completely resonates with me. (And, no I’m not kidding about the 8,000 gumballs).

Because sometimes weddings warrant the need to take off your shoes and go barefoot.

Thanks to Jeremy Lawson for bringing the LOLs. I literally DIED from laughter.  And, kudos to the bride for being a good sport. Hope it brings a smile to your face on this Monday!
