plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

landlocked bride real wedding

Melissa over at La de Da Photography sent me this gorgeous wedding not too long ago. I fell in love with bride’s style and their fun guest book idea (stay tuned – it’ll show up in Part II this afternoon). She was nice enough to share some of the details.

From Melissa:
Stephany and Tim were high school sweethearts. And, if you ask them, they’ll tell you that they have always known they’d be together forever. They tested their relationship when they went away to college in California. And, only grew closer when they took a road trip back home after being gone for more the 4 years. They drove back home together to Minnesota, only to come home and tell everyone they were planning a long-awaited wedding.

They held their wedding at the Historic Mill City Museum in Minneapolis, which is better known for its rich history of what was once the world’s largest flour mill. The building has been through a flour explosion and a fire, but the beautiful ruined walls have been fortified and turned into some of the most gorgeous spots for photo opps.

And, because I (Landlocked Bride) happen to think Stephany has some serious style (and, not to mention, I love her birdcage veil), here are some great shots of her.
