And, I continue on my bridesmaids dress journey.
After ruling out option#1, I knew I still wanted something that the girls could easily wear again. Now, I realize that almost every bride says this. But I REALLY mean it. If my girls are going to drop $100-$200 on a dress, I want them to be able to wear it. What makes this next option so appealing (other than it is absolutely chic?), the price. A whopping $76 dollars. I even had one BM say she would probably buy it even if I didn’t choose it as the one.
Although I really like this dress, a lot, I wasn’t in love with it. The cotton-y material was appealing, but the idea of if it being wrinkly even before the ceremony made my head spin (which was also a problem with option #1). So, back to the interweb I went to find another option.
As a side note, I highly encourage you to check out other dress on the Shabby Apple site. Not only are there some fabulous finds, but the company donates micro-credits to women in poverty-stricken countries.

Hey lady!
So I’m in a wedding in like two weeks, and the bride told us the color, the designer, and sent us a page of our options. Then we picked out which dress we wanted ourselves, coordinating with her to make sure we each had our own. It was actually really easy, got us four different dresses that had a bit of commonality, and all of us LOVE our dresses. No one’s in anything unflattering, which is such a struggle with one dress and different body types. I’m definitely wearing mine again!
Also: hi!

Bridesmaid Dress shopping is hard! We just ordered some this weekend for the June wedding that I am in. I love the different style/same color dresses though for bridesmaids!

It’s nice that you want to pick something they might get some more wear out of! We paid for the girls dresses as part of their gift. I wasn’t sure if they’d wear them again – but my Maid of honour’s sister actually wore it to a wedding last weekend.
I think that dress is really cute. Best of luck with the hunt!
