plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

It’s cold outside, but that does not mean your winter engagement photos have to be boring.  This, my friends, is how you have fun with your e-pics in the winter.  And, thankfully, we have a few outdoor skating rinks in town during winter!

What is fantastic about the idea of doing something for your engagement session, is that the photographer is truly able to capture real moments of interaction, as Sara mentions on her blog.

I would never trust myself to look good with a pair of blades on my feet but these turned out wonderful!

We had a blast during the shoot! I agree that doing some sort of activity whether its ice skating, bowling, picking apples or painting pottery makes the whole session more comfortable and enjoyable. We go ice skating at Steinberg every year around Christmas time which is why we chose to do ours here, not because I am remotely good at ice skating because obvisouly I am not! I am glad you liked the pics!

  3. These are super cute and definitely genuine, like you said!

  4. what a lovely couple and super great photos!
