plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

If you do not know who Amy Atlas is, I urge you to follow her blog.  This is especially the case if you are planning a wedding.  Amy is an event planner in NYC, well known for her delectable dessert tables.  She started her blog as a way to share her fun ideas and showcase her work.  I even featured one of her fantastic dessert bars in one of my previous posts (see here).

For any of you brides out there looking for great candy buffet inspiration, her site is the place to start.  With spreads like this, all of your guests will be floored (at least I would if I saw one of these at a wedding) and you’ll be proud of your DIY work!

Obviously, not every bride and groom out there would be able to foot the bill to have Amy design their candy buffet/dessert bar, but the great thing is her table set-ups and color choices provide a source of inspiration and ideas to help you create your own version. And, with lovely wedding classifieds sections like those found on Weddingbee and Bravo Bride, and sites like Bride$hare, you can save a few bucks by creating your own beautiful buffet!
