It works! In fact, the reception workers told me I was the only bride they'd ever seen wear her heels all night. I was also the bride that ate the most food... Hm. For now they are safely tucked away in their Kate Spade bag and box and stored at my parents house. By the way, I was a red shoe bride, too - I just posted a whole mess of red shoe pics on my wedding blog today! http://eatdrinkmarry.blogspot.com/2009/08/for-love-of-red-shoes.html Mine were broken in just fine on the big day, but one thing I didn't foresee was that the tall, skinny heels would get stuck in between all of the boards on our rustic beach deck location.
