plan a modern wedding in the middle of the country

If you remember, early on we chose our wedding colors:


It was back when I re-did our wedding invites for the final time (I have not touched them sense, only to change location information; you should be proud), that the FI and I decided what the theme for the wedding was going to be: Circles. We would use the circles in conjunction with the modern, Fall colors we chose.

It is not a very exciting theme, I get that, but almost all of the elements that we plan on using/incorporating into the ceremony and reception will have some sort of tie-in with the whole “circle” theme. And, because of the design on our invitations and the monogram I created, it just seemed very obvious to us what we could do to make the wedding feel fun and modern by playing with the circle theme. As I continue to share the details of our wedding, I will reveal some elements hear and there (we wouldn’t want to give it all away now, would we?).


  1. I like the circle theme. It is very modern and clean, plus you have all the symbolism that comes with them!

    We think so too and definitely does tie end to the symbolism of a circle. I didn’t even think about that!
